Youth Scholarships
Our affinity groups are identity-based groups where LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults have a safer space to belong. Ages 12  - 20.

Affinity Groups

Ace Space - A discussion group open to any youth questioning or within the spectrum of asexual, aromantic, demisexual, and demiromantic identities. 

Genderscope - A discussion group open to transgender, non-binary, gender variant, genderqueer, gender questioning, or any other non-cis gender identity. 

Neuroqueer Sphere - A discussion group open to neurodivergent youth.

QPOC - A discussion group open to youth of color.
​

Taking Up Space - A discussion group open to bigger bodied youth and any youth with physical disabilities. Ages 12-20.

New to Kaleidoscope Youth Center?

General Programming

For youth and young adults 12 - 20.
LGBTQIA+ Advocacy Nights - A space where youth can discuss current events, legislation,  and how to speak up and champion their rights. Ages 12-20.
Art Night - Join us to create and express yourself through open art time. Ages 12-20.
LGBTQIA+ Book Club - A space to have discussions around books! Share your thoughts about your favorite books and learn about new ones. Ages 12-20.
Dungeons and Dragons - A group for anyone wanting to learn how to play D&D (character building, one-shot campaigns, etc)! Ages 12-20. 
Game Night - Come play video games and board games at KYC! Ages 12-20. 
House Meeting - A youth led discussion about what programs, events, and topics they would like to see for the month at KYC. Ages 12-20.

Movie & Pizza Night - Serving up pizza, a movie, and community time! Ages 12 - 20.
Open Mic Night - 
Showcase any talent: vocal, spoken, or otherwise! Ages 12-20. 
Tabletop Games - Come play games at KYC! Ages 12-20. 
​Wellness Wednesdays - A youth led and youth driven group for LGBTQIA+ young people to find support and community with one another while developing knowledge, skills, and practices to promote emotional, physical, and social wellness. Ages 12-20.

Guardians and Family Groups

Young Adults 18-24 Community Night - A group open to LGBTQIA+ young people, ages 18-24 only. Pizza, discussions and a chance to meet new people!
Youth, Families and Guardians Group - A space for youth under 12 to make friends and build community, while parents, guardians, and caregivers have a discussion space to find support!
