I’m starting drama class and I heard that there is going to be a lot of singing and dancing. Honestly I think singing is dumb…… What do you think? Is Singing dumb or not? Give me your opinion.
The Fourth of July weekend was very awkward and surprising. For example: The weather was very inconsistent. The weather in Ohio will be nice and sunny one minute and then the next it will be cloudy and pouring down rain. Weird, right? Also, the citizens of Columbus Ohio were out of control, a murder that occurred in Downtown Columbus Ohio near Cleveland Ave! ”Disturbing”. Other than the issues occurring on the holiday weekend, I actually had fun chilling with my friends and relaxing at home with family. Unfortunately, my Pastor’s Father passed away and his funeral was this weekend. It was very sweet and emotional as Pastor XXXXXXX had pictures of his father on the stage and flowers of every kind surrounding his casket; a very beautiful ceremony. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Remember memories are made to last, cherish the moments you have with your family and friends. No one knows the day or hour when the angel of death will knock on your door taking you to your eternal resting place.
Well this Wednesday I went to the boom. It was ok, but not what I was expecting. The fun part of the boom was hanging with my family. My daddy and I were clowning around so much that my other dad yelled at us and got very mad. The fireworks turned out to be ok, but spending time with my family was the best of all. Spending time with family especially on holidays makes the memory more cherish able than spending the holidays alone.
The Columbus Stonewall Pride Festival was a very good experience and brought alive the person I am inside. It was my first pride festival ever. I had a wonderful time and I can't wait to participate next year. I've never seen so many allies supporting GBLTQ'S before. Heart stopper, right? When all hope is gone and it feels like no one understands, things turn out to be a little more surprising than expected. People really do support the gay community. We will not allow stereotypes to prevent us from realizing the world does care. Be yourself and rock out pride every year! #Pride2013
