Reasons for joining YLC: I am interested in education and empowerment of youth, especially those who are sexual or gender minorities.
Goals for the future: While I am in YLC, I would like to increase the number of GSAs registered with the network and increase attendance at events such as the Spring GSA Summit and Other Prom. My goal for the future is to educate and mentor people who work with youth (teachers, etc) on all things LGBTQ+.
In my spare time: I like to talk to my friends, watch Netflix (mostly Scandal and Friends, honestly), and read good books.

Reasons for joining YLC: This will be my second term as the Youth Leadership Council Activism lead and I couldn't be more thrilled! Initially I joined the YLC because I wanted to advocate for the LGBTQ community. I am very passionate about this, and so I thought to start with peers.
In my spare time: I am a musician! I play several instruments such as, viola, piano, guitar, saxophone, and vocals. I also enjoy the literary arts!
