The Circle of Support provides the foundation of Kaleidoscope Youth Center’s infrastructure and helps build our capacity to serve youth of all backgrounds. By providing critical unrestricted funds, the Circle of Support ensures that the Center remains open and able to support the many programs funded by grants and foundations.
Kaleidoscope Youth Center depends on the generous financial support of concerned community members to continue to provide our high-impact programs and much needed services. Kaleidoscope is a registered 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and all contributions are tax-deductible.
Circle of Support members invest in Kaleidoscope Youth Center with a contribution that matches their commitment level and financial resources. Pledges may be fulfilled with a single annual contribution, through monthly or quarterly installments charged to a credit card via PayPal, or through the Columbus Foundation's Power Philanthropy program. Mentor
$50-$100 Donation:
- Underwrites safe and drug free recreational activities
-Purchases art supplies that enable youth to express themselves in safe ways
-Supports our telephone support line for youth and families who have questions
-Makes it possible for us to provide health and life skill programs
Advocate
$100-$300 Donation:
-Provides hot meals after-school for the youth at the Center
-Procures office supplies to maintain communication with youth service providers
-Provides continued access to the internet for youth projects
-Invests in welcome packets for youth who are new to the Center and the community
Leader
$300-$500 Donation:
- Enables us to present GLBT information to teachers and therapists who work with youth
-Contributes to the basic functioning of the Center, like heat and electric
-Allows expanded access to leadership development experiences
-Prints outreach newsletters and informational brochures
Champion
$500-$1,000 Donation:
-Helps us to keep the doors open to provide a safe space for youth to grow and be supported
-Assists in financing team-building and other out-of-center activities in the greater community
-Facilitates our ability to help the youth in forming positive self concepts through adult mentoring | |
