Volunteers are the backbone of this organization. We could not be where we are today without our dedicated and committed volunteers. Kaleidoscope Youth Center requires over 300 hours of volunteer support each month just to keep our doors open to continue to provide our services to LGBTQ youth. We welcome your contributions as a volunteer to the varied activities of this dynamic and worthwhile organization. We continue to need your help so that we are successful in making coming-out an experience that is shared, celebrated, and safe. At times, that will mean serving as the facilitator of a group or activity, doing office tasks, maintenance chores, publicity, and volunteering at special events,outreach or fundraising activities. Read the following requirements, then APPLY NOW! We require our volunteers to: Be at least 23 years of age and have completed a bachelor's degree. Fill-out a KYC Volunteer Application. Complete our General Training Class. Successfully clear a criminal background check and personal interviews. Be willing to be a role model for the youth at KYC
